July 5, 2024 - Call Center Will Now Be Open on Weekends Starting Saturday, July 6, 2024 The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is pleased to announce the expansion of its Customer Service Call Center hours. Beginning Saturday, July 6, 2024, the Call Center will now be open on weekends to better serve its passengers.

  July 4, 2024 - RIPTA to Detour Route 60 (Providence/Newport) to Accommodate Bristol Fourth of July Parade The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the Fourth of July. The Sunday/Holiday schedule will apply to all regular fixed-route service.
