🗓️ April 21, 2022 - Four Virtual Public Meetings to be held April 25 to May 4 The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) and the Rhode Island Human Services Transportation Coordinating Council are hosting four virtual public meetings focusing on transportation needs for individuals with disabilities, older adults, and others in need of transportation assistance.

🗓️ April 21, 2022 - Detour to run from 6am to Noon The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced today that Routes 1, 33, 34, 35, 60, and 78 will be detoured on Sunday, May 29, 2022, from 6am to Noon to accommodate Brown University’s Commencement Ceremony.

🗓️ April 19, 2022 - The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is advising passengers that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is no longer enforcing a federal mandate requiring face masks to be worn when using public transportation. The mandate, which had been in place since February 1, 2021, was vacated by a federal judge in Florida yesterday.
